New Domain Host Issue Settled (UPDATED)
Monday, 31 May 2010 0:55:00 CDT |  | We have a new domain host and will be cutting over from our temporary host soon. Our old host developed issues that were not being resolved to my satisfaction and the current host can not meet all of the hosting configuration requirements. A host has been found though that meets all of the requirements and has a proven track record with good reviews.
The final cut over occurred today and hopefully this will be the last host move for some time. |

Domain Move Update
Friday, 28 May 2010 14:54:01 CDT | | Well I am in the midst of making the switch over to my new domain host. Most everything appears to be working, but I am sure that a bug or two will crop up as I continue my testing. If you happen to notice anything please send me some feedback and I will make any required corrections.
I switched the primary .COM domain over today. I am not sure how long it will take to propagate the change across the internet. I set up a auto-redirect to the .NET domain which I moved over earlier this week and is resolving properly.
It still seems that I have a hundred things to do in order to make this happen, but I an committed now so there is no going back to my old domain host even if I wanted to. |

Being a veteran myself I strongly believe that we should always take the time to remember the veterans of this world. Not only on days such as Memorial Day, but each and every chance that we get.
Thank you to all that have served, laid down their lives in the line of duty and all those who have supported the troops past and present.

Domain Move
Tuesday, 25 May 2010 20:31:30 CDT | | After a continuous run of issues (slow response times, outages, page processing problems, script issues, HTTP floods) with my current provider I have been left with no choice, but to move on to another provider.
I have had five successful years of hosting with them, but changes in their hosting facility have led to service with way too much down time and customer support that seems to try and leave you with a feeling that there was nothing wrong and it was all on your end.
I have contracted with another host and have been migrating files and functions over and getting them set up and tested. My target is to cut over no later then June 2nd.

Apologies to All Baseball Fans
Monday, 5 April 2010 18:07:23 CDT | | | I have to apologize to all of you baseball fans out there. I had a good run at the MLB teams and three days ago I had a database corruption and the server I store my backups on went down. I have spent the better part of this past weekend attempting to recover my most recent backup, but the file corruption was just too bad. I had to go with the only backup available to me which was a month old and had few of my recent updates. I will be working as quickly as possible to get my notes converted over to updated links. |
